K wins Zamalek Cup Confederation Cup
The official site of the African Union "K" celebrated the crowning of Zamalek Club in the first Confederation Cup title in its history after winning the renaissance of the volcano 5/3 penalty shootout to achieve the title of the Confederation of Africa.
Zamalek won the match with a 1-1 draw by Mahmoud Alaa from a penalty kick, while a volcano rebound won Morocco the same result.
Zamalek striker Khalid Boutaib, Mahmoud Alaa, Abdullah Gomaa, Joseph Obama and Ahmed Sayed Zizou scored the winner's goals.
Zamalek won the first half of the African Confederations Cup in the 55th minute of the African Cup of Nations qualifier Mahmoud Ala in the 55th minute of the penalty kick.
