Investigations The seizure of rotten meat in Giza: The accused accused customers of being "my country" and sold them at low prices
Investigations by the Public Prosecutor's Office revealed that the owner of a meat store collected large quantities of goods unsuitable for human consumption and proceeded to sell them to citizens in Giza, where it was found that the defendant "Arabi" collected quantities of meat frozen and unfit for human consumption.
It was found that the accused sealed the meat with forged seals with the intention of defrauding the citizens and accusing them of being municipal meat and was slaughtered by massacres subject to the supervision of the competent authorities.
The investigation continued that the accused re-put the meat imported for sale to citizens, during the month of Ramadan, at relatively low prices for the real prices of the same municipal meat for consumption, in order to attract a large number of customers.
Investigators continued to monitor the suspect's activity. Immediately, a security campaign was launched, targeting the storehouse and confiscating 700 kilograms of meat that was not fit for human consumption, and a bottle of red ink.
