The head of the National Post Authority, Issam Al-Saghir, revealed to the "Seventh Day" that the service of payment of traffic violations through post offices is successful, pointing out the issuance of about 3,500 certificates of acquittal of citizens almost daily.

The service, which was launched last November, aims at easing the pressure on citizens to wait for payment of the violations, separating the service provider from the recipient and thus facilitating the lives of the citizens.

In case of grievance against any traffic violations, the TRA can also receive grievances and inform the customer by text message whether the complaint has been accepted or rejected, in addition to obtaining the certificate of violation or certificate of acquittal.

The service is carried out through the postal service centers through the customer going to the branch and processing the ID card and the car license and handing them over to the responsible employee who in turn discloses the irregularities and informs the employee of the value of the fees due. In the absence of charges for the violations, the customer pays the value of the certificate of innocence only, If there is a charge of irregularities, he will pay it. If he wants to file a complaint, he will wait for an SMS message to confirm whether he has accepted or refused and then to complete the required procedures from the nearest post office.
