Head of "Financial Control": Insurance for the lives of 23 million students with flowers and schools
Dr. Mohamed Omran, chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority [EFSA], said that the Board of Directors of the Authority agreed to cooperate with the Sheikh of Al-Azhar Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayeb for the insurance of 2 million and 200 thousand students in institutes and Al-Azhar University.
He pointed out that there is another decision of the Commission to insure 21 million students in all schools in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which means that compulsory insurance will be made on more than 23 million students from schools and institutes Al-Azhar and Al-Azhar University.
In a speech to the meeting of the Committee on Economic Affairs of the House of Representatives today, headed by MP Ahmad Samir, the Minister of Education urged the Minister of Higher Education to study the matter. He added: "A fund will be established by a decision of the Prime Minister to insure the students. For students ".
Omran revealed that the student in the schools will pay 3 pounds per month. The university student will pay 50 pounds per year, which is the value of the insurance contribution, and the disability and life insurance will be the full coverage for the students throughout the year and at all times, not just the study period and time.
Amran added that the Authority is preparing a new insurance law that will impose compulsory insurance on certain matters, including compulsory insurance for the professions, state assets and other compulsory insurance, and the application of the sports law in terms of compulsory insurance for sports events
