Government delegation to attend World Climate Summit in Austria

The Delegation stressed the importance of the adaptation issues, which he hopes will be a priority for the next climate summit in New York and to listen to the voices of Africa, pointing to the importance of taking concrete actions on the ground to support Africa in adapting to climate change and preserving its natural resources.
The summit, which was attended by nearly 1,200 representatives from participating countries, focused on climate protection projects that have been implemented and will explore new ways of financing as stipulated in the Paris Climate Charter.
The summit tackled the acceleration of investments in environmental infrastructure with the aim of establishing a green economy and ways to contribute to the United Nations sustainable development goals of 2030, as well as shared visions of integrated and less carbon-emitting societies.
