Ghana's president orders Asamohah Jian to revoke the international retirement decision

Ghanaian President Nana Akufo Addo, star of the black stars Asamoah Gyan, has ordered the retreat from the international retirement decision.
The Ghana Ghana Soccer website said the president spoke with Ghana's icon on Tuesday night, one day after Gyan's announcement of international secession, which sparked controversy a few weeks before the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Gyan said he made the right decision in time, in protest against Ghanaian coach Quasi Abiah's decision to exclude him from the black stars' list which is preparing for the 2019 African Nations Cup.
The Ghanaian website noted that the President of the Republic spoke with Gian by telephone, where the player is currently in Turkey residence, to urge him to retreat from the decision to retire, according to a spokesman for the Presidency of Ghana.
The black stars are in Group F with Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau.
Gian made his first appearance at the age of 17 against Somalia in 2003, Ghana's historic scorer with 51 goals in 106 appearances and also participated in 3 World Cups in 2006, 2010 and 2014.
