Confederation is the second African Zamalek titles in the month of Ramadan

Zamalek won the African Confederation Cup for the first time in their history at the expense of the Moroccan volcano team, winning by penalty shootout 5 – 3, after the two teams to win back and forth with a score of 1 – 0.

The Confederation Cup title is the second title for Zamalek in the holy month of Ramadan, after winning the African Cup Winners' Cup at the expense of Cameroonian team Canon Yaounde with a 4-3 aggregate score.

Zamalek has raised its African titles to 10 titles among the five African Champions League, a trophy in the African Cup of Nations and the Confederation Cup alongside three titles in the Super African.
