Cavani resolves controversy over his future with Paris St Germain
Edouison Cavani, the Paris St Germain striker, ended his future with the team amid rumors of his return to the Italian naboli in the summer Mercato.
Edison Cavani and his teammates in Paris Saint-Germain celebrated the French league title for the eighth time in their history after beating Dijon 4-0 in round 37 of the French league.
"It is nice to celebrate the league title, these things that we keep in mind, the fans give us love and thank them for that," Cavani said in remarks following the celebrations of the French league, quoted by the French daily L'Equipe.
"I will respect my contract with Paris, I love this club, this city, I am very happy here with my family, football is not only dependent on me, but I want to stay and complete my contract."
"I do not want to say anything," Cavani said, referring to the possibility of returning to Naples.
Edison Cavani is linked to a contract with Paris Saint-Germain that will end in the summer of 2020.
