418 escapees from judicial rulings in an extended campaign in Aswan
The Criminal Investigation Department, the Department of Execution of Judgments and the officers of the sections and centers in Aswan launched Friday a campaign to control the fugitives from the execution of the judicial decisions. The efforts resulted in the seizure of 418 fugitives from the implementation of penalties related to various judicial rulings throughout the departments of the centers and sections of Aswan Governorate.
The executioners were able to control 136 escapees from partial confinement, and arrested 14 fugitives from remand. The campaign resulted in the arrest of 187 people who were sentenced to fines, 80 convicted of misdemeanors, and two were convicted of stealing electric current. Confronted with the validity of judicial decisions issued and are referred to the competent prosecution, to implement the sentences issued against them.
