280 million pounds for the preparation of studies and designs for the development of 208 villages
In the framework of the implementation of the second phase of the development of the villages most in need of the economic, social and urban development of the villages in order to improve the standard of living of the villagers and provide them with a decent life, 280 million pounds have been made available to the Central Agency for Reconstruction under the Ministry of Housing to begin the preparation of studies and designs required to implement the development and development of 208 villages Egyptian supervision of implementation.
The fiscal year 2019/2020 plan aims at providing an additional LE 400 million to start the implementation of the targeted villages in light of the projects that have been limited and available to them. These villages should take a fair share of development according to a methodology based on full partnership with the citizen in identifying and implementing And follow-up development projects, both in the field of infrastructure or services or local economic development.
Several task forces were assigned to conduct field visits to the villages of the second phase, which numbered 132 villages in 5 villages in each governorate. The projects required for the development of these villages will be reviewed in coordination with the governorates, members of the House of Representatives and citizens.
The priority of the projects required was to improve drinking water, sanitation, roads, communications, transportation, electricity, hygiene, environment and housing, as well as human development through improving education, health, youth, women, children, people with special needs, culture, training and skills.
