What does Supernova mean and how it happens in space?
Supernova is speaking during the final stages of the evolution of the life of a giant star, where the star explodes and releases debris and particles in space, and despite the supernova's burning for a short time only, it reveals to scientists a lot of the beginning of the universe. Supernova showed how we live in a world that is expanding , Growing at an ever-increasing rate.
Scientists also stressed that supernova plays a major role in the distribution of elements throughout the universe.
There are two known types of supernova:
The first type occurs in binary star systems when a star, a white dwarf, picks up an additional material from an adjacent star until it reaches a critical mass subject to a nuclear explosion.
The second type of supernova occurs at the end of a giant star whose mass exceeds 8 solar masses and ends at the end of its nuclear fusion, because the nuclear fuel is suddenly depleted.
