The traffic men continue to chase the drivers, who are walking at speeds higher than permitted rates, especially near the entrances and exits of Greater Cairo.

The general traffic department, headed by Major General Essam Shady, traffic director, seized 1450 violations within 24 hours of radar taking by highways.

All roads witness intensive services and traffic campaigns to monitor radar violations to reduce traffic accidents caused by mad speeds and drivers' failure to comply with scheduled speeds.
