Among the most prominent items of Egyptian exports to the Spanish market, which witnessed a rise during that period, both vegetables and fresh fruit, which recorded exports of about 20 million euros in 2018 compared to about 8.5 million in 2015, Egypt's exports of garments and textiles increased by almost 42% to 126 In 2019 compared to about 89 million euros in 2015, making Spain one of the most important countries in the world to receive Egyptian exports of garments and textiles, and exports of inorganic chemical products increased by 36.3% to record 11.5 million euros in 2018 compared to 8.4 million in 2015.

With regard to trade data and indicators between the two countries for the first quarter of 2019, the head of the trade office in Madrid pointed to the increase of Egyptian exports of goods by about 10% during the first quarter of 2019 to record 185.8 million euros compared to 169 million euros in the corresponding period of 2018.
