Tourism: 35 thousand rooms in Cairo ready to host the masses of "Alcan"

After a work plan that lasted for more than three months, the Ministry of Tourism, through the hotel control sector in cooperation with the hotel facilities room, completed the preparations for the African Nations Championship, hosted by Egypt before the end of this month, especially in the targeted cities, particularly Cairo, Alexandria and Suez.

Cairo came in the forefront of the target cities, which will witness the numerical density where most matches will be held, in addition to the time of the championship coincides with the season of Arab tourism, which is reviving in that period. The Ministry of Tourism confirmed that Cairo has 35 thousand hotel rooms, including 20 thousand rooms for the four levels Five stars, ready.

Abdul Fattah Al-Assi, head of the hotel control sector for the "seventh day", said that the sector began to follow up about three months ago and there were some observations were reported to each hotel separately, and we asked them to move quickly to finish all preparations, pointing out that the follow-up continued So finish all the procedures.

He pointed out that all hotels will be fully prepared for the championship within 20 days, pointing out that Ain Sukhna will be among the targeted hotels where it will be exploited for proximity to Suez, while Alexandria has more than 4 thousand hotel rooms and in the case of the need for a larger number will be using the coast North where there are 3 thousand other hotel rooms.

The Ministry of Tourism is one of the official sponsors of the championship, where the African Nations Championship will be used to promote tourism to Egypt, by broadcasting videos in stadiums and using pictures of football stars in the tourist destinations.
