A source at the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones [GAFI] revealed that the targeted investments in the Dahshur free public area, which will be built on Fayoum Road, reach about one billion dollars. He pointed out that the estimated cost of establishing the area is LE 772 million.

The source added that "the seventh day" that the area of ​​the area reaches about 124 acres, about 520 thousand square meters, is expected this year to start building the area and continue business for two and a half years.

The region is expected to include 85 factories in the food, textile, engineering and pharmaceutical industries. The factories are expected to provide about 19,000 jobs, with expected exports of about $ 500 million annually.
