The efforts of the Governor of Damietta succeed in the participation of the EXPENDABLES team in the International Robot Competition with the support of civil society
The efforts of Dr. Manal Awad, Damietta Governor, have succeeded in providing visas and all facilities for the participation of a team in the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE OPEN INTERNATIONAL, which is scheduled to be held from June 14 to 16 in Lebanon.
The Governor thanked Tariq Shaheen, Chairman of Damietta Port Authority, for his great support to this team and providing all necessary facilities to participate in the competition
In a related context, the governor of Damietta received on Sunday the members of the team, which includes 10 of the province's sons in the age group of 9 to 16 years and the number of two trainers and listened to a detailed explanation of the robot design and programming project competition to address the problems experienced by astronauts.
The team also thanked the Governor of Damietta and the head of the Port Authority for their great support and sincere efforts to participate in the competition.
Dr. Manal Awad said that the province pays particular attention to its children and always works to build and develop physical and mental capabilities and encourage scientific research as well as provide all possible means and means of support for them.
