A few minutes ago, the bells of the ancient churches of Zuwila and the scouts drifted to announce the arrival of Bishop Raphael, the general bishop of the Central Cairo Churches, and the panorama of the entrance of the Holy Family to the Basilica of the Virgin Mary in Zuwaila in a representative scene.
He was greeted by Scouting teams, which raised the flag of Egypt and scouting flags in the sky, in a solemn procession led by the choir of deacons, singing the song Ekmarot. The scouts on either side of the road leading to the church welcomed his arrival.
The ancient churches of Zuwila are among the oldest churches in Cairo and have been blessed with visits to the Holy Family, including the Synod of the Virgin Mary, Mar Gerges, Abu Seifin, the Shrine of the New Cross, the Monastery of the Virgin and Margarges.
