This candlestick bears inscriptions referring to the name of the Mamluk Sultan Qaitbay872-901 / 1467-1495. It was made in the shape of the Noble Prophet's Mosque in the Mosque of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] in Madinah, which is characterized by the cylindrical cylindrical base, shape and neck.

The body of the candlestick is adorned with a strip of textual decoration that refers to the name and titles of Sultan Qaitbay. It is noted that the letters of the letters end in the forms of the cross-flames and have been added to the writing of life and movement. This text cuts the written text of Sultan Qaitbay, while the round disc in the body is written The Prophet's house was stopped by the Sultan, King Al-Ashraf Abu Al-Nasr, Qaitbay Ezz Nasra.
