Reports: Moroccan Union demands the return of the final matches of the Champions League and the Confederation
The Moroccan Football Union [FAU] has sent a letter to the African Union, demanding the return of the final two African Champions League between Al-Turji and Al-Wadad, as well as the final meeting of the African Confederation Cup between Zamalek and the Moroccan volcano.
The Moroccan Football Federation said in a statement that Wydad and Nahdha Berkane were unfair during the two matches. They canceled the first goal of the first team against Al-Turji in the final of the African Champions League, while Zamalek goalkeeper Jensh was not sent off during the penalty shoot-out during the Confederations Cup final against Nahdet Berkane.
The African Football Confederation [CAF] is expected to announce its final position on the sidelines of the AU's executive committee, scheduled for Tuesday.
