Replacing and renovating a drinking water plant in the village of Zakhira in the New Valley at a cost of LE 4.6 million
The local unit of the center and the city of Balat in the new valley on Thursday completed the project to replace and refurbish a drinking water plant in the village of Zakhira of the center at a total cost of about 4 million and 645 thousand pounds, which was implemented under the supervision of the branch of Holding Company for drinking water and sanitation in the province.
Adel Abbas, head of the center, said that the maintenance and replacement work was completed to increase the capacity of the plant and raise its efficiency to cover the population increase of the village and its accessories.
Abbas added that the work of washing the water stations, passing on the sewage plant, the removal of the pickling tanks and the examination of the drip hoses are also being followed.
