Protocol of cooperation between the province of Giza and a charity to serve the most needy villages

Giza Governorate signed a protocol of cooperation with a charity to provide social and medical services for the people of the province. The Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, stressed the importance of the role of NGOs in serving the community and its effectiveness in development and empowering others who are able to live a decent life.

The governor pointed out that the protocol aims to provide medical services to the most needy villages through the organization of convoys free of charge and provide medicines for the needy and provide compensatory equipment for the injured and perform operations for the needy.

The protocol also includes the provision of social services through raising the level of education and literacy of rural people and providing in-kind assistance in seasonal events for people in the most needy villages in the governorate, in addition to the contribution of the association in the work of environmental projects and the provision of small projects such as the provision of sewing machines and goods for kiosks.

The governor called for the need to unite civil society and civil society organizations with the state to improve the standard of living and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
