"Projects Parliament" approves French credit facilities with 50 million euros

The Central and Small Projects Committee of the House of Representatives, headed by MP Mohamed Kamel Mare'i, approved the agreement signed between Egypt and the French Development Agency on the program of supporting women's projects, under which the Egyptian government is granted 50 million euro credit facilities and a grant of 1 million euros.

At the end of its meeting, the Committee recommended the conclusion of a cooperation protocol with the Project Development Authority, the National Council for Women and the Ministry of Social Solidarity to manage loan funds.

During a meeting held yesterday under the chairmanship of MP Mohamed Kamal Marei, the SME Committee discussed Presidential Decree No. 75 of 2019 on the approval of an agreement between the governments of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Italy to provide a soft loan.
