Major General Hisham Amna, governor of the lake, accompanied by Majdi al-Qamari, the security director, observed the religious celebration organized by the Directorate of Lake Awqaf in collaboration with the governorate on the occasion of the celebration of the night of fate and the Sheikha Mariam Mosque in Damanhour city.

The celebration began with verses from the Holy Quran followed by Sheikh Saeed Abu Makarem and a speech by Sheikh Mohammed Shaalan Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf during which he spoke about the virtue of the Night of Power and its status and manifestations of God and forgiveness from God Almighty for those who believe that night and calculating, referring to the virtue of the last ten of the month Ramadan, and the importance of waiting for the night of fate, and revived in the individual nights of the last ten days.

Then the ceremony ended with prayers and the religious nomination of the preacher Sheikh Fawzi Abdul Ghaffar.
