Osama al-Abd: Parliament is following the efforts of religious institutions to renew the religious discourse

Dr. Osama Al-Abd, the head of the Religious Affairs and Endowments Committee in the House of Representatives, said that Al-Azhar is an expression of moderation and tolerance of Islam and moderation, which is the kiss of science and raises the name of Egypt high in front of the whole world.

Al-Abed said in a statement that al-Azhar and religious institutions are exerting great efforts in developing and renewing the religious discourse, and the religious committee in the parliament puts this issue at the top of the priorities and follows up all the efforts being made.

Dr. Osama Al-Abd pointed out that confronting the extreme and abnormal fatwas that cause confusion and sedition in society is one of the means of renewing the religious discourse, pointing out that the control of the fatwa is necessary and it is not permissible to issue fatwas from non-specialists.
