Al-Sharqia Governorate announced the start of experimental operation of the grain silos at the Al-Hajran marine station in the Husseiniya Center at a cost of LE 209 million. The construction of 12 cells on an area of 15 feddans was completed with a storage capacity of 5 thousand tons per cell with a total of 60,000 tons.
Ali Al-Sanadili, head of Al Husseiniya Center and City, confirmed that the construction works at the silo silos at San Al-Hajar have been completed by 98% according to the specified time schedule, pointing out that the pilot works are being carried out for receiving silos and start receiving the tanks and storing them in silos.
The purpose of these silos is to serve the Husseiniya Center, as well as to serve many centers and neighboring cities, which will reduce the percentage of lost grain stored, as the province of Sharqia occupies the second place in the production of wheat, which makes the percentage of waste is absent in this crop Strategy.
