"Nasser and Africa" at the Nasser Leadership Program
Dr. Fleifel, chairman of the African Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives and former dean of the Faculty of Higher African Studies, said that the ancient Egyptian civilization was available to all the peoples of African countries, reflecting the origins of African civilization, pointing out that Egypt is the capital of African culture. This came during a session on Gamal Abdel Nasser and Africa as part of the first day of the grant launched by the ministry (African Youth Office, Central Administration of Parliament and Civil Education) under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli and the African Youth Union, Civil education in the island.
"We should read the history of what Africa has done against the occupation throughout the ages to learn about Africa," he said, referring to Mr. Nasser's resort to such tricks to prevent Western intervention and control of African peoples.
Fleifel praised the African Parliament, which is a real African summit for its decision to ban the export of mineral materials, making Africa an industrial and agricultural continent that achieves development and renaissance. He stressed the need to pay attention to African in-depth research on industry, trade and agriculture.
Faylif explained that the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser reflected the image of the African Association and that Africa committed itself to the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser to support the rights of the Palestinian people. He pointed to his leading role in the liberation movements and the African Renaissance, indicating the role of his policy in reaching the heart of Africa.
African youth also called for the intensification of their efforts to build the African continent as decision-makers and leaders of the future.
For her part, Dina Fouad, head of the central administration of the parliament and civic education, said that the "Nasser for African Leadership" grant aims at transferring the Egyptian experience in building national institutions and creating a new generation of young African transformational leaders with a vision in line with the directions of Egypt's presidency of the African Union. The African Unity through Integration; as well as the establishment of a gathering of the most influential young African leaders on the continent level with the necessary training, skills and visions, emphasizing the interest and keenness of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to provide all forms of support and rehabilitation. Training as well as empowering them in leadership positions and taking advantage of their abilities and ideas.
