Messi leads Argentina to crush Nicaragua before Cuba America
Argentina scored a 5-1 win over Nicaragua in a friendly on Friday at the Piscinetario stadium in San Juan, Argentina.
Argentina are preparing to take part in the Copa America in Brazil from June 14 to July 7, while Nicaragua prepare for the CONCACAF Gold Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Costa Rica and Jamaica from June 15. Until July 7.
Argentina's Lionel Messi scored two goals, while Lautaro Martinez had two goals and Roberto Pereira had a goal in the 36th, 38th, 62nd, 72nd and 80th minutes respectively. Juan Parreira scored the only goal of Nicaragua in the 90th minute.
The Copa America drew Argentina in Group B alongside Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar.
Argentina will open their campaign against Colombia before facing Paraguay and Qatar respectively.
