Luxor participates in the initiative to support the hearing impaired the first nursery to support and rehabilitation of children in Taiba
The province of Luxor participated in the initiative of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Republic, to support the hearing impaired by activating the role of the first nursery inaugurated in the new city of Taibah under the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The province also launched campaigns to examine children and treat them free of charge.
The governorate has opened a nursery in the new city of Taibah this year. It includes support for hearing impaired children and cochlear implants, from 30 to 50 children with hearing loss and cochlear implants, which were distributed in 4 classes, fully equipped with facilities, equipment and seats in the vocational training center in Luxor.
The students are served in the nursery from different cities in the province by transferring them by car from the cities of their custody to the headquarters of the nursery in the city of Tiba and then return them again after the end of the school day, as the province of Luxor by a number of the most hearing impaired and cochlear implants, and were before going to Cairo To study in such nurseries specialized in this field, and with the opening of this new nursery in the province will provide them and their families with the mobility and the difficulties they face to be in Cairo throughout the year, where they will be prepared for them and study programs and recreational and customized training to develop their life skills to serve them in the To go out to the community without any damage from hearing loss definitively.
The Minister of Solidarity of Luxor, Mahmoud Farouk, stressed that the Directorate of Social Solidarity has always provided all aspects of care and support for all people with special needs throughout the province of Luxor, as the political leadership in Egypt led by President Abdel Fattah Sisi was the biggest supporter of the disabled, after the President's decision to be in 2018 General with special needs.
