Juventus announce Guardiola's appointment next season
Juventus will announce the appointment of Spaniard Pep Guardiola, current manager of Manchester City, as coach of the old lady on Monday, Italian press reports said.
According to Italian media network Mediast, Juventus have agreed with Guardiola on the details in strict secrecy, and will be formally hired to replace former coach Massimiliano Alegre.
Guardiola is unhappy after the imminent decision of the European Football Federation [UEFA] to deny him participation in the next Champions League, and that there is a clause in his contract that allows him to leave by June 15 if the team does not qualify for the Championships.
This comes at a time when other reports indicate that the selection is currently from Juventus management between Guardiola, as well as Mauricio Sari, Chelsea coach.
