In preparation for its opening tomorrow .. Governor of Monofia inspect Church "Virgin" in the city of Sadat

Today, Maj. Gen. Saeed Abbas, governor of Monofiya, visited the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Sadat, in the presence of His Grace Bishop Bakhoumios, Bishop of the Beheira, Matrouh and Sadat, Major General Osama Saoudi, Deputy Director of Security for the Sadat Sector and Majdi Abu Saad.

Where the governor inspected the church building and its surroundings to find out the final preparations and the availability of parking areas and roads leading to the church and the insurance plan in preparation for its opening tomorrow, in the presence of Pope Twadros II Pope of Alexandria and the Patriarch of the preaching of St. Mark.

The Governor congratulated the church's worshipers and expressed his happiness at the presence of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the land of Menoufia. He pointed out that the Church has always played a leading role in establishing values and principles as well as tolerance, peaceful coexistence and the principles of peace and love.

For his part, Bishop Bakhomios expressed his happiness to visit the governor of the church and his keenness to be sure to finish all the work himself in preparation for the opening of this great edifice.

Pope Twadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the Annunciation of St. Mark, will inaugurate the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sadat City tomorrow, the first pastoral work of His Holiness in Egypt after returning from his pastoral journey abroad.
