Governor of Matruh: 710 thousand Ardeb barley and 10,000 Ardeb wheat from agriculture on the rain
Majd al-Gharabli, governor of Matrouh, announced that wheat was supplied in the governorate. 14,400 thousand ardab wheat has been supplied so far from the irrigated areas of al-Kharjeen and al-Hamra villages from a total area of 15,258 thousand feddans.
Engineer Hussein Al-Sinini, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Directorate in Matrouh, said that the amount of wheat supplied to the Egyptian Silos Company is expected to reach 18,000 Ardab from the Matrouh governorate, where supply is 660 pounds for Ardab.
Al-Senayni said Matrouh governorate witnessed the highest harvest season this year, with 284,000 feddans of barley and 3,400 feddans of wheat. This area is expected to produce about 710,000 barley and 10,000 ardab wheat consumed locally.
The governor of Matruh said that next year will provide early seed for farmers through agricultural extension fields.
This comes within the province's interest in agriculture and increasing production and challenged the equipment and agricultural machinery with the latest technology with the training of workers on the latest methods of agriculture to reach the highest and highest agricultural crops.
