Galatasaray is racing to save Trezeguet

The Turkish newspaper "Star" revealed that Abdul Rahim al-Bayraq, vice president of Galata Saray club will hold a crucial meeting on the contract with the Egyptian star Mahmoud Trezeguet with the management of Qassim Pasha.
The newspaper reported that Abdul Rahim al-Bayraq, vice president of the club Galata Sarai seeks to hold an urgent meeting with the officials of Qasim Pasha to save the deal of signing Mahmoud Trezeguet failure.
Galatasaray wants to sign Mahmoud Trezeguet after coach Fatih Terim expressed great admiration for the player's technical and tactical capabilities.
The newspaper "hurriyet"I said earlier that Kasim Pasha had asked for 15 million euros to approve the departure of player Mahmoud Trezeguet to the ranks of Galata Sarai, which led to the cessation of negotiations between the parties.
The newspaper added that the management of Galata Sarai threatened to withdraw from the negotiations after the insistence of Qasim Pasha to obtain the amount required for approval to complete the deal.
The newspaper said that Galatasaray refuses to exaggerate Qasim Pasha in his requests for material, especially that the price of the player may reach 17.4 million euros because of taxes imposed by the Turkish government on the transfer of players and 18% of the value of the deal.
Mahmoud Trezeguet presented impressive levels with Kassem Pasha this season, scored 9 goals and made the same in the Turkish League, while he was named African Player of the Year in Europe by France Football magazine last March. .
It is worth mentioning that Mahmoud Trezeguet is preparing to participate with Egypt in the African Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Egypt during the period from 21 June to 19 July.
