Essam Al-Saghir: The Postal Authority is responsible for paying office rents nationwide

Issam al-Saghir, head of the Postal Authority, said that the Authority is responsible for paying the rent of post offices at the level of the Republic, and not to charge citizens any burdens related to the costs of the headquarters.

This came during a meeting of the Communications and Information Technology Committee in the House of Representatives, on Sunday, under the chairmanship of MP Ahmed Badawi, during the discussion of a number of requests for briefing by the deputies, on the development of post offices, including by Deputy Abdul Aziz Al-Sfti, on the post office of Kafr Shubak village in Qanater In Qalioubia Governorate.

He added that the Authority will pay rent for any place designated as a post office, pointing out that the Authority will change the lease from the people immediately, pointing out that 4 years ago there is no signature of rent contracts for post offices except with the Commission, and promised to establish a post office for Shobak, As soon as the permits for demolition and construction are available, especially as the local unit puts its hand on any land that is demolished without a building permit .
