Erdogan's policies are rife with Turkey .. A significant decline in the performance of the economy and the contraction of the industrial sector

Zaman newspaper of the Turkish opposition highlighted the deterioration of the economy in its country, stressing that the Turkish economy recorded a significant decline during the first quarter of this year reached 2.6% compared to the same period last year.
Zaman quoted Turkey's official statistics agency as saying that the construction sector contracted by 10.9%, while the industrial sector contracted by 4.3% and the services sector declined by 4%%..
The country's gross domestic product [GDP] fell by 2.6% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period of last year, while the value added of the industrial sector fell by 4.3% and the construction sector by 10.9%.
This comes amid heavy criticism faced by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey because of the decline in the performance of the economy because of its policies in the recent period.
