Egypt supports Swatini to eradicate malaria under the slogan of Zero Malaria

Egypt participated in launching the Malaria eradication initiative in Swaziland, under the slogan "Zero Malaria", under the chairmanship of Egypt of the African Union. The delegation of Egypt conveyed the greetings of President Abd El Fattah El Sisi, President of the African Union, to King Assawatin. And his wish for the success of this important initiative of the friendly State, and of all African States.

It is noteworthy that a high-level ministerial delegation was received by Egypt's delegation at the airport of Eswatini.

The delegation of Egypt said it supports the friendly country in its efforts to eradicate "malaria", pointing out that health initiatives are the main engine of health systems in African countries, pointing out that it is wise leadership that supports the success of these initiatives.

The delegation of Egypt also stressed that most international organizations, particularly the World Health Organization [WHO], hailed the launch of this initiative, pointing out that "malaria" was the cause of the deaths of millions of children and pregnant women in Africa, pointing out that this initiative will reduce these deaths through Providing treatment for thousands of patients from our African brothers.

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is a supporter of the implementation of this initiative. This comes after the delegation of Egypt met with Global Vand officials during the recent visit to the Swiss capital of Geneva and the delegation of Aswatini to support African countries in the treatment of Malaria, with their potential in this area.
