A short edition of the biography of Charlie Chaplin will soon be published by Dar al-Mada, translated by Akram al-Hamsi. The previous edition was published in the series "The Seventh Art", which is issued by the General Establishment of Cinema in Damascus.

Charlie Chaplin, one of the most famous filmmakers in the world, lived between 1989 and 1977 and was born to a father who knows nothing about him, who left him a young age with his older brother Sydney to take care of their mother for a short time before becoming mentally ill. Followed him to the mental hospital, while Chaplin and Sydney go to reform.

But before this stage, everyone noticed the talent of gifted child Chaplin, on stage, when he performed with his mother some theater performances, and picked up money from the audience to support his mother, abandoned by his father.

Years later, Charlie Chaplin became the most famous film character in the world, especially after introducing the character of the famous hobo. In his personal memoirs, he made it clear in 1964 that he invented the character of the "vagabond" by sheer coincidence. He quickly searches for a funny costume, to be shown in a selected performance of the British Music Hall.

"I had no idea what makeup I was going to wear," Chaplin says. "But on my way to the wardrobe, I thought I'd wear loose pants, big shoes, a stick and a derby hat … I had no idea who I was."

"But the moment I got dressed and put on make-up, I felt like a" vagabond. "I started to know him. By the time I got into the theater, he was born completely, and immediately the comic ideas swarmed in my head to give to the audience."
