Buffon refuses to play for Roma

Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has rejected the request of Roma legend Francesco Totti, according to an Italian news report.
Buffon announced his departure from Saint Germain after a season in the French capital.
According to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Totti, Rome's sporting director, called Buffon to persuade him to move to the Wolves this summer, but the Italian goalkeeper turned down the offer.
She added that Buffalo agent Silvano Martina explained that the Italian goalkeeper has a good relationship with Lazio, and does not want to spoil it by moving to the arch-rivals.
Buffon's future is not clear yet after the 40-year-old, but his agent confirmed the end of his career, noting that he received several offers from different quarters, most notably Genoa.
