Brazil's Flamengo signs contract with former Saudi coach Al-Hilal

Brazilian club Flamengo has announced the appointment of Portugal's Jorge Jesus, former technical director of Saudi club Al Hilal, as the team's new coach.

Saudi Arabia's Al-Riyadiya newspaper reported that Jorge Jesús will take over Brazilian team Flamengo for a season.

Earlier in the day, Jesus revealed that he had offers from Arab clubs, one of them from Egypt, before Flamengo announced his contract.

The Portuguese coach left Saudi Arabia's training in the middle of last season, replacing Croatian Zoran, who was sacked before the end of the Saudi league.
