Bishop Rafael opens the exhibition of icons of the Holy Family in the Church of the Virgin

Bishop Raphael, the Bishop of central Cairo and the priests of the Church of Our Lady of Mary Zohaila, opened an exhibition of some rare Coptic icons that document the journey of the Holy Family during her visit to Egypt..

The exhibition includes a number of icons of the Virgin Mary, carrying her baby accompanied by St. Joseph Najjar during their visit to many areas in Egypt.

The ancient churches of Zuwila are among the oldest churches in Cairo and are blessed with a visit to the Holy Family, including the Synod of the Churches of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mar Gerges, Abi Sefine, the Shrine of the New Cross, the Monastery of the Virgin and Margarges.
