Awareness sessions for 1725 youth, mothers and minors with the risks of illegal migration
As part of efforts to limit illegal migration in a number of governorates, the Ministry of State for Migration and Egyptians Affairs abroad has set an urgent priority to raise awareness among mothers and children about the dangers of illegal migration, and to promote safe migration and promoting opportunities for entrepreneurship and development. For her part, Ambassador Nabila Makram, Minister of State for Migration and Egyptians Affairs Abroad, stressed that mother and child are the basis for raising awareness about the dangers of illegal immigration. The mother is the cornerstone of inculcating the values of belonging and family care and preservation. The ideas that aim to deprive them at this age by encouraging them to migrate illegally.
Dr. Saber Sulaiman, Assistant Minister of Immigration for Institutional Development, explained that the launch of awareness programs for mothers and children against the dangers of illegal migration also comes from the promotion of community and urban development in informal settlements in light of the cooperation protocol signed with the Ministry of Planning.
For his part, Wael Farraj, official of the file of illegal immigration in the Ministry of Immigration, said that the ministry has provided many awareness programs according to the cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Planning and Administrative Reform "Sustainable Development Unit Egypt 2030", through coordination with NGOs in the villages of " – Luxor – Beni Suef ", and based on the reports adopted by the Ministry in its study to determine the factors affecting the resolutions of illegal immigration of young people.
Farraj added that a number of awareness programs on the risks of illegal immigration and the definition of safe migration, entrepreneurship and comprehensive development of young people from the target groups aged 15 to 35 years have been implemented in the governorates of Qena, Luxor and Beni Suef, where 1725 youth, mothers and minors In various stages of life and to inform them of the ways of migration and diverse employment opportunities in the giant projects carried out throughout the Republic and how to join them.
