Montasser Amran, a former leader of the Islamic Group and an expert in the affairs of Islamic movements, stressed that the fight against thought is originally the responsibility of scientists, thinkers and opinion leaders, pointing to the need to unite all to fight deviant thought.

He added the former leader of the Islamic Group, that the state is required of two sides to fight the thought of security and thought because the state is the only one that has a security solution because of the specialized institutions and also possess the intellectual way through the scientists of Al-Azhar and Endowments to address the deviant thought, scientists and weapons of science and statement, Its weapon is force and used against those who try to carry arms against the state and want to apply its deviant ideology on the ground by force.

He went on to say that the fight against terrorism has two ways, namely fighting thought and paralyzing the movement of leaders or elements who carry weapons while the role of the people is limited in awareness of the deviant ideology to stand in the face of those who carry deviant ideology.
