Ambassador Ehab Badawi: Extending the exhibition of Tutankhamun in Paris after his great success

The Ambassador of Egypt to France and its permanent representative to UNESCO, Ambassador Ehab Badawi, stressed that the extension of the exhibition "Tutankhamun" currently held in the French capital of Paris was in light of the great success achieved as the most important events of the joint cultural year between the two countries in 2019 and the most important cultural event in France General, noting the wide coverage of the French and international media.
Ambassador Ehab Badawi said in an exclusive statement to the Middle East News Agency on Friday that the exhibition "Treasures of the Pharaoh", which has exceeded the number of visitors to 850 thousand so far decided to extend an additional week to remain open to the public until September 22 instead of September 15, This week, the hours of the show will be extended by two additional hours a day from 9 am to 9 pm, in light of the growing demand from the French and tourists for his visit, recalling that the French people are among the most loving people of the Egyptian civilization, among other things His scientists in revealing the secrets of Egyptian civilization Q Feast.
The Ambassador of Egypt expressed the intention of organizing the exhibition to organize a big celebration in the middle of this month, which will include a concert and interventions by Egyptian specialists on the history and importance of the pharaonic pieces presented in Paris as part of an evening under the title "Tutankhamun Night".
Badawi praised the great success of the exhibition, pointing out that the participation of Egyptian antiquities in exhibitions abroad, in addition to supporting the budget of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities through its revenues, directly promotes tourism to Egypt in the short term, In the long run, through the definition of young people, which in turn leads to continued international passion for the civilization of Pharaonic.
He pointed out that the exhibition is visited by one family three generations: grandparents, parents and children, and that grandparents who visited his first copy in Paris in 1967 and were keen to take grandchildren to the second version now.
The exhibition "Tutankhamun" in the Grand Hall de la Ville, Paris since March 23, includes 150 pieces, including 50 pieces, which were exhibited outside Egypt for the first time.
