An unemployed man who was arrested on charges of drug trafficking in Hawamdiyah admitted that he specialized in trafficking heroin, because of its high value and the percentage of profit from selling it, because its users are rich.
The defendant, who was arrested with 56 heroin tickets, added that he was preparing to promote the seized amount to his clients, with the increase in demand for the drug, during those days due to the approaching Eid al-Fitr.
The defendant was informed of the source of his access to the narcotic drugs, the Giza Investigation Center intensified his arrest, and on the basis of the confessions of the accused and the investigations of the detectives, the prosecution decided to detain the accused for 4 days pending investigation.
Information was received from the police officers of the Hawamdiyah police station, stating that drug trafficking was in progress and that they were prepared to promote a quantity of heroin drug to its clients.
In preparing an ambush for the accused, the detectives managed to seize him, with 56 heroin tickets, and released a report of the incident.
