A rise in the stock market indices at the start of trading in the beginning of the week

The Egyptian Stock Exchange [EGX] opened its session on Sunday with a collective rise for all indicators in the first session after the Eid holiday.

The EGX30 index rose 0.39% to 13,842 points. The EGX 50 index rose 0.82% to reach 2079 points. The EGX30 index of weights jumped 0.45% to reach 17093 points.

The index of small and medium-sized companies, "EGX70" rose by 0.11% to reach the level of 597 points, and the broader index "EGX 100" by 0.2% to 1524 points.
