A review of the role of the Egyptian Museum in the protection of heritage in a conference in China

Sabah Abdel Razek, Director General of the Egyptian Museum of Liberation, participated in the 7th International Forum for the Protection of Cultural and Moral Heritage, held in Shanghai, China, during the past two days.
She also participated in the opening of the Ninth International Traditional Crafts Exhibition and the Fifth International Cultural Tourism Development Conference held in the same period in Shanghai.
The forum was attended by 10 countries from around the world and many Chinese cultural institutions. The opening ceremony was also attended by Ambassador Ahmed Abdul Aziz Mustafa, Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Shanghai and Mr. Abdulrahman Hassan, Deputy Consul General
During the forum, Abdel Razek presented a lecture in which she highlighted the role of the Egyptian Museum in editing the protection of the Egyptian cultural heritage by presenting the functions of the museum's various departments to display, document, preserve and preserve the artifacts and offer a series of educational programs to spread awareness among the Egyptian people. Age groups of children and adults, technical workshops, field visits to craftsmen areas, community outreach programs offered in schools, public libraries and orphanages, as well as heritage craft programs and women working to activate the Museum's role in the development of And the preservation of traditional crafts through the workshops accompanying the temporary exhibitions held by the museum, provided by specialized volunteers, in addition to vocational rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities, organized in cooperation with specialized associations to preserve heritage crafts and achieve social integration.
