3 years for 16 of the Muslim Brothers after being charged in the case of the Administrative Office in Sohag
The Sohag Criminal Court on Sunday sentenced 16 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to three years' imprisonment and three others were acquitted of possessing leaflets and publications and joining a terrorist group in the case known as the Administrative Office.
The ruling, headed by Counselor Hamdi Abdel Aziz, and the membership of advisers Mohamed Zain, Mr. Abbas, the secretariat of Taha Hussein and Majed Amin.
The events of the case date back to 2015, when the Public Prosecutor's Office, under the supervision of the Attorney-General of Sohag Prosecution, charged the accused with membership of a terrorist group aimed at disturbing public order, damaging state institutions, obstructing the provisions of the Constitution, preventing State institutions from carrying out their work, To demonstrate, disrupt transport and communications and promote publications.
