15 years imprisonment for a worker accused of killing two women because of a verbal argument in Sohag
The Sohag Criminal Court sentenced the defendant Jalal, 36, to 15 years in prison on charges of murdering the victims, A. and Mona F, for firing them from an automatic weapon in the Dar es Salaam district.
The judgment was issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Othman Mohameden and the membership of the advisors Osama Saleh Arafa and Abdulsalam Nabih Abdulsalam with the secretariat of Abdel Monsef Ibrahim and Mohamed Abdel Hamid.
The events of the case return to the Dar es Salaam district in 2015 when the head of the investigation received a report of the death of the victim, who were wounded by a gunshot wound. They were taken to the hospital dead bodies. Investigations revealed that the accused was responsible for the incident. There was an altercation between the accused and the victim during the purchase of some Supplies in the market. The accused went to his house and ordered him to use automatic weapons, and the two were shot dead, killing them instantly and fleeing.
After the legalization of the proceedings, the defendant was arrested and confronted with the confession of the incident and was referred to the Criminal Court, which issued its previous ruling.
