The House of Representatives, headed by Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, will resume its public session next Sunday after Eid al-Fitr to discuss a number of important issues and issues, including 8 bills, foremost of which is a draft law submitted by the government on increasing pensions.

The expected work of the House of Representatives includes the following:

– The House of Representatives is due to convene next Sunday [June 9th]

Parliament is preparing to discuss 13 bills and consider 9 requests for a general debate.

– The government draft law amending certain provisions of the Supreme Constitutional Court Law promulgated by Law No. 48 of 1979.

– Amend some of the provisions of the Administrative Prosecution Law promulgated by Law No. 117 of 1958, the Law of the State Cases Commission issued by Law No. 75 of 1963, the Military Judiciary Law promulgated by Law No. 25 of 1966, the Judicial Authority Act No. 46 of 1972, Law No. 47 of 1972.

– Draft law submitted by the Government on the issuance of the law establishing the Science, Technology and Innovation Financing Authority.

– 3 draft laws authorizing the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to contract exploration and exploration of oil.

– Taking the final opinion on the draft law to authorize the transfer of some applications related to the implementation of provisions to the Investment Law promulgated by Law No. 72 of 2017.

– Taking final opinion on a bill to increase military pensions.

– The Plenary will consider 9 requests for a general discussion to set a date for discussion

– 45 reports from the Committee on Suggestions and Complaints will be considered on the proposals of the members of the House of Representatives on various issues.
