Syndicate of Engineers: Putting the date for the start of the application of increased pensions on the next council

Eng. Mo'men Shafiq, treasurer of the General Syndicate of Engineers, said that the increase of pensions of 100 pounds is scheduled for the next meeting of the Supreme Council of the Syndicate to determine the start date of implementation after the approval of the general assembly of the union.

Shafiq said in a special statement to the "seventh day" that the number of pensioners in the increase is permanent, reaching last December, 130 thousand members, and this month the number reached 135 thousand, pointing out that it is expected to exceed the number of eligible For the pension of 140 thousand members, end of the current year.

The General Assembly of the Engineers Syndicate agreed in March to increase the value of the pensions by LE100 to raise its total value from 700 pounds to 800 pounds.
