On this day .. the fall of the meteorite "Abby" in Alberta, Canada

Every day that passes on Earth is a memory of a space phenomenon that we may not know, but it is an important event, which we present to you according to the day. On June 9, 1952, more than 60 years ago, my father died in Alberta, Canada.

According to Space, the meteorite weighs approximately 326 lbs and was pulled out of a deep pit 6 feet in a wheat field when it was found five days later.

A piece of it is still exhibited at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and the Abee meteorite is classified as the world's only type of meteorite.
